The Legal in Board in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Gmbh, has facilitated the opening of 5 new Legal Services units in the following towns and cities, Kitwe, Ndola, Choma, Chingola and Livingstone.
This brings the total number of LSU's to 6 with Lusaka having been the first station to have the first Legal Services Unit. These units are located at the Subordinate court premises of each town.
We have had the pleasure to recruit qualified staff to further champion our cause to delever access to justice to all indigent persons in our society.
Our aim is to strengthen representation in the Subcourte where the bulk of litigation takes place.
“We wish to encourage members of the public to utilise these services to the fullest as it is the mandate of the board to deliver these services.
